*(Pupils are subject to a 2 hour assessment lesson at the cost of £50. At that time, if the instructor is satisfied and agrees to let the pupil use the training vehicle for test, the above fee of £150 - which is NON REFUNDABLE, must be paid to the instructor at the end of the assessment lesson. This would then make a total of £200 payable to the instructor. £250 if it is an Extended test or Saturday test)
*FREE USE OF CAR FOR THE PRACTICAL DRIVING TEST*
When you are a pupil of AMC Driver Training, If you recommend a family member or friend and they then book, pay for and complete 10 one hour lessons, then you get the FREE use of the training vehicle for your practical driving test. The only thing you pay for is the pre-test lesson on your test day.

Intensive Driving Courses
Why take months learning when it can take you just weeks…
Intensive driving courses are structured for those pupils who would like to obtain their licence in a short period of time. Pupils take their lessons during the week and take their practical test on their last hour of tuition.
*Please Note: a practical test cannot be booked until you have passed your theory and hazard perception tests!
Picking a Course
20 Hours..........£435
This course is ideal for the confident pupil who is nearing test standard or has just failed a test and needs to work on specific areas to achieve a pass.
25 Hours..........£522
This amount of hours should be suitable for pupils with little driving experience but feel competent with the basics and control of the car.
30 Hours..........£610
A 30 hour course is aimed at a young confident learner with minimal driving experience, or an older learner who is a little nervous but has the basic skills to control the car. These include steering, stopping and starting and gear changes if using a manual car.
35 Hours..........£700
This course is aimed at the confident mature pupil with little driving experience or a confident young novice with no driving experience.
40 Hours..........£790
An ideal course to suit the young and mature student alike who has no driving experience at all or whom is very nervous and requires that little bit extra help.
*These are 'all inclusive' prices. Tuition and use of training vehicle for the practical test are included in these prices.

2 Hour Assessment
If you are unsure of which course to choose we offer a 2 hour assessment lesson in which the instructor can assess your capabilities and recommend how many hours you should need to reach a standard to pass your test.
Taking Your Lessons
Theory test passed - The lessons are spread over one or two weeks with your practical test on the last hour.
Theory test not passed - You can start your lessons straight away while studying for your theory. Once the theory has been passed a practical test will be booked for you and you can continue or increase your lessons leading up to your practical test.
