So why are the lesson prices so affordable with AMC Driver Training? The simple answer to that question is that we do not have any large overhead costs to deal with, neither do we have any large franchise fees to pay. The savings we make are then passed onto our pupils - so they can save also.
With us, you only pay £20 per one full hour's lesson. This will be the price you pay right up to your test. You will save right from your first lesson with AMC Driver Training.

Please be careful, if you are tempted to use a cheap driving school, BEWARE! Cheap driving schools could use trainee driving instructors who will lack experience, or they could be start up businesses that cannot get business by word of mouth. Cheap driving schools who are start up businesses will also lack experience. If you choose a cheap driving school you could end up paying a lot more money because the teaching might be second rate.

When you are a pupil of AMC Driver Training, If you recommend a family member or friend and they then book, pay for and complete 10 one hour lessons, then you get the FREE use of the training vehicle for your practical driving test.
Why take months learning when it can take you just weeks...
Intensive driving courses are structured for those pupils who would like to obtain their licence in a short period of time. Pupils take their lessons during the week and take their practical test on their last hour of tuition.
*Please Note: a practical test cannot be booked until you have passed your theory and hazard perception tests!
All Intensive Courses must be completed within a 6 month period. The pupil must have sat and passed their theory test within this period.
Picking A Course
25 Hours..........£475**
The 25 hour course should be suitable for pupils with little driving experience but feel competent with the basics and control of the car.
30 Hours..........£555**
A 30 hour course is aimed at a young confident learner with minimal driving experience, or an older learner who is a little nervous but has the basic skills to control the car. These include steering, stopping and starting and gear changes if using a manual car.
35 Hours..........£630**
The 35 hour course is aimed at the confident mature pupil with little driving experience or a confident young novice with no driving experience.
40 Hours..........£700**
The 40 hour course is ideal to suit the young and mature student alike who has no driving experience at all or whom is very nervous and requires that little bit extra help.**These are 'all inclusive' prices. Tuition and FREE use of training vehicle for the practical test are included in these prices.
With intensive driving courses, practical driving tests are normally taken weekdays Mon - Fri. Saturday and Evening tests, an extra cost of £40 will be charged.
On receipt of a non-refundable £100 deposit your booking will be confirmed.
If you are unsure of which course to choose we offer a 2 hour assessment lesson in which the instructor can assess your capabilities and recommend how many hours you should need to reach a standard to pass your test.
Taking Your Lessons
Theory test passed - The lessons are spread over one or two weeks with your practical test on the last hour.
Theory test not passed - You can start your lessons straight away while studying for your theory. Once the theory has been passed and with the agreement of your driving instructor, a practical test can then be booked. You can continue or increase your lessons leading up to your practical test.
